About the CCTV Operator (Public Surveillance) Course
This course is for anyone who wants to get an SIA CCTV Operator Licence and work in public space surveillance. It follows the official SIA training requirements and is supported by Skills for Security and the SIA.
Getting the Level 2 CCTV qualification is the first step to applying for your SIA licence.

What You Will Learn
The course is split into two units.
Unit 1: Principles of Working in the Private Security Industry
You will learn:

Assessment & Exams
You must pass two multiplechoice exams:
Unit 1 Exam
· 72 questions
· 1 hour 50 minutes
· Pass mark: 51
Unit 2 Exam
· 40 questions
· 1 hour
· Pass mark: 28
Exams take place online at the training centre.

· No pass – no retake fee (2 free retakes)
· Pass rate is over 95%
